I was a bit disappointed in the shortness of the book. If you know anything about basic surveying, this won't add much to your knowledge. It's probably good info for someone just getting into surveying. There's no mention at all about Magnetic Bearings or Magnetic Declination and those should be part of any discussion about bearings.

This is a great reference for angle, azimuth,and beating conversion. simple straight and to the point. always keep it simple.

Awful. I thought this would be a helpful introductory book to give to my survey technician but now I think it might just confuse him. The "book" is a cheap "infomercial-esque" pamphlet with lots of very big letters and very few pages. Do a modicum of research online and you will find plenty of helpful and well written articles on the subject that will quickly surpass what is in this document. Save your money!

I thought the book was well written and easy to read. Not very long. Basic information about bearings and azimuths but explained well so anyone could understand it.

This book is small, and the little bit of information it contains can easily be accessed with a few minutes of Google searching. If you're looking for a book to learn how to use bearings and azimuths in any real world application, you'll be disappointed. Apparently, it's part of a set and often refers to other books in the set for pertinent information. It's really nothing more than a handful of cheat sheets someone put in a book form to sell, and can literally be read in about ten minutes.
