We love little blue truck and this christmas one is just great! Not sure if it's just amazons copy or a misprint in general but our book seems to be missing a page. It doesn't tell you what happens to tree #2. Still a great book tho.

Little blue truck Christmas was a huge hit with my 3 year olds preschool class! It was my turn for reading and craft time and we needed a holiday theme. (There are a ton of great little blue truck craft ideas online for btw) We found a free printable LBT page on Pinterest and cut out a truck for each kid, along with trees to deliver. They all really loved the last page with the blinking Christmas tree lights! It was definitely a short book but they all requested several encore performances:)

So this is a 2 part review: 1) seller feedback and 2) the book itself1) the seller stuck their product sticker right smack on the front of the book cover with a sticker so sticky that it was aboutimpossible to get it off. I had to use goo-be-gone to get it off, so now my 1 year olds book has some chemical residue on it. Note to seller: try putting stickers somewhere that won't ruin the cover of a book, or use a sticker that will actually remove easily.2) The story is actually really cute and the illustrations are great. The last page has lights on the truck that light up which is a cool touch. I'd highly recommend this story!

My 2 1/2 year old son loves this book. I bought this book in September and I just gave this book to him yesterday as a prize from his potty chart. I wanted him to have it before Christmas so we would have plenty of time to read it. We have read it already 20 - 30 times and he loves it! He loves the twinkle lights at the back. This book is great for practicing counting (up to 5) and making animal noises. My son likes to count the trees and see how many trees are left in the truck after the truck makes a tree delivery.Other reviewers listed problems with batteries; as I stated we haven't had any issues and we had read the book a lot and that doesn't count the number of times my son is just opening and closing the book to see the lights. But the batteries for the book are 3 LR1130/AG10 which is a pretty common battery in kids books that make noise, have lights, etc. I have purchased a big pack of these batteries from Amazon probably 6 months ago for a very inexpensive price because we probably have 5-6 books that use this same battery. Just a FYI for people that say that have battery issues and/or can't find the batteries, check Amazon.

My son has and loves the other Little Blue Truck books. Although I was hesitant to purchase this one because it isn't a board book and my 2 year is still in the paper ripping phase. However, I came across this book in Target one day and to my surprise, the paper is extremely heavy cardstock! Huzzah! So, I ordered it off Amazon because of course it was cheaper, and my son loved it as well!The story follows Blue as he picks up 5 Christmas trees, all different somehow, to our friends from the previous books. Kids learn to count up to 5 and also learn big and small and short and tall. Kids also learn the value of giving and sharing something special with a friend. In the end, Blue and Toad have a tree that "glows" when you open the last page. My son did attempt still to tear open the pages, but the book is durable enough that if it were a regular book I would have been to too late. This one has crumples, but it's still intact and that proves this is 2 year old proof!

This is such a cute book. My 18 month old LOVES the little blue truck so I thought this would be a lovely book to read to him leading up to Christmas. The story is nice and rhymes, it also teaches counting and the lights at the end are sure to be loved. the only bad part is the pages are thinner than the original book (which is fine and this is to make space for the flashing lights) however the two sides are not stuck together the whole way so this could lead to them getting ripped when a toddler is trying to turn the pages.

I love this book. My 1 year old son loves the flashing lights. However, the flashing lights simply don't work. I've purchased this book twice now, and I've purchased the small watch batteries as well. It take 3 of them. And regardless of which book I tried or how new the batteries were, the lights just don't work. I mean, they work maybe 1 out of 20 times. I can't imaging the batteries running out after just using it once or twice, but that seems to be what's going on. It's a shame really, because it's an enjoyable book to read. But it leaves you disappointed at the end.

My kids love the Little Blue Truck books and thought this one was great, and absolutely love the last page that lights up. Unfortunately, it doesn't work sometimes. The book doesn't have as many words as the original Little Blue Truck book, which was kind of disappointing, and the pages are also thinner.
