Introspectivo, aleccionador, calmante, soñador, etc... Cuantos adjetivos podré dar a este libro que me ha enseñado tantas cosas como mujer.Gratificante el tiempo que he puesto en él para terminarlo de una forma profunda.La protagonista-escritora logró que me identificara con ella en muchos aspectos. Logró que doliera tanto como que disfrutara.Su descripción tan exuberante del país y lugar que en turno visitaba, me dejo con el sabroso sabor de creer estar viviendo ese momento yo misma.Citas de historia de las ciudades así como la descripción de lo que ella percibía, me han dejado deseosa de saber más.

Lo leí porque vi la pelicula y mas o menos me gusto. Cabe destacar que la pelicula es muy diferente. Si se hubiese hecho como el libro hubiese sido enormemente aburrida. La autora no escribe tan mal y en ocasiones puede ser divertida. La parte de bali es muy interesante; no por la historia de ella sino por conocer la idoncincracia del balines. La traduccion al español de españa es patético. No respetan los nombres propios y cambian las palabras para adaptarse a la forma de hablar del español, cosa que no apoyo como lectora

Este libro vale la pena leerse por muchas razones, pero creo que la principal es contactarse con la propia necesidad de conectarse con lo divino y lo espiritual. Liz nos enseña a tomarle gusto a la vida, aún con todas sus vicisitudes. Me pude indentificar con algunas de la emociones y situaciones que describía, y me pareció muy valiente la manera en que las afrontó. Viajando por el mundo y sumergiéndose en otras culturas logra encontrarse a si misma, encontrarse con Dios, encuentra la paz, el equilibrio y el amor.El secreto está en confirar en la vida. Ésta siempre nos proveera lo que necesitamos. A veces nos quita cosas y lo creemos injusto, pero lo mismo nos está haciendo un favor. Pero eso no lo entendemos sino hasta que ha pasado el tiempo. Y la vida siempre nos colocará dónde nos corresponde estar, y he aquí la eterna intervención de lo divino. Me parece un libro hermoso y muy bien escrito. Sobre todo es ameno e inspirador.

Me gustó mucho. Si bien es cierto que la gran mayoría de personas no podemos hacer un viaje como lo hizo ella, lo que realmente importa de este libro es aprender de sus experiencias, de sus pensamientos y sus reflexiones. Me sentí identificada con muchas cosas y te hace cuestionarte a ti misma. Estos libros te llegan profundo.

La historia del libro es muy interesante y entretenida es un libro que te abre a hacerte preguntas sobre uno mismo. No le doy todas las estrellas por que la traducción al español realmente es mala. Pudieron usar un español más neutro con expresiones que se entiendan para todo los hispano parlantes. Había demasiado lenguaje callejero de España

Es la tercer vez que lo leo y no me canso de hacerlo. Me gusta muchisimo la historia y la manera tan divertida que tiene de contarla. Está entre mis libros preferidos, de esos que tomas para disfrutar una tarde tranquila y en paz. Lo recomiendo, Esta muy bien escrito, ameno y la historia te engancha desde el primer momento.

El libro describe un cambio sorprendente de mente, cuerpo y alma.Un cambio que todos somos capaces de realizar .Si así fuera, la humanidad entera estaría llena de paz.
