On the pro side this book is well written and is pleasant to read. The story is pretty good, something of a mystery tale. In general the author seems to know pre-Columbian Incan history fairly well, but you have to wonder how any student of the Incas could confuse guanacos with llamas.The other part of the story I found fairly strange was the portrayal of the Incas and their subjects as using new age types of magic such as crystals, meditation and such. In this sense the novel is historical fantasy not straight up historical fiction.There aren't that many novels of historical fiction about the Incas and less in Spanish, so those who enjoy such books probably won't be dissapointed.Por lo bueno este libro esta bien escrito y no es dificil leerlo. La hisoria funciona bien y es como un mysterio. El autor parece saber algo sobre los Incas pero es dificil creer que no sabe entre guanacos y llamas.Otra cosa que es extrano es que la magia en el libro es de la nueva edad con crystales y meditacion y cosas asi. Por eso este libro no es ficcion historico pero de fantasia historico.

Como dice el autor, esta novela ubicada en el reinado del Inca Tupac Yupanqui tiene una serie de licencias históricas que le dan a la trama fuerza y continuidad.Las descripciones sobre la geografía y la cultura inca hacen revivir su existencia, y la historia de Numa a través de la búsqueda de su hija hacen que la historia sea creíble.Pero lo que más me agradó fue el estilo quasi poético del autor: "… era tan claro que ensordecía el silencio y paraba la luz". "¿No es mejor día para morir mañana que hoy?"Si bien la mayoría de los regionalismos podían ser interpretados en su contexto el glosario fue un instrumento imprescindible aunque su constante consulta podía distraer más de la cuenta.

Este libro es una joya! No solamente está bien escrito con un lenguaje sencillo y afable sino que además es una historia en la cual se nota que el autor tiene no solamente amplio conocimiento sobre el tema de los incas pero además es capaz de transportarnos a esa hermosa época y lo hace sorprendentemente bien.Pocos libros he leído en mi vida que me han cautivado y este es uno de ellos. Lo recomiendo totalmente y felicito al autor efusivamente.German Silva

Es un gran libro, para las personas qué le agrada leer sobre culturas antiguas, me encantó su trama y la descripción de todo lo qué fue el Imperio más grande de América del Sur, lo recomiendo y espero lo disfruten tanto cómo yo.

Un cuento que no solo entretiene, es aleccionador por su historia. Me siento honrado de leer un cuento hecho por un extranjero sobre la historia de mi país. Felicito al autor!

ME GUSTO MUCHO, PORQUE DA LA POSIBILIDAD DE CONOCER LA HISTORIA DEL IMPERIO INCA , LOS DETALLES DE LAS COSTUMBRES. Y MUESTRA QUE LA SOCIEDAD INCAICA Y EN GENERAL LA SOCIEDAD PRECOLOMBINA DEL CONTINENTE QUE HOY LLAMAMOS AMERICA NO ERA PERFECTA NI IGUALITARIA COMO HOY EN DIA QUIEREN PRESENTAR MUCHAS ORGANISACIONES CON SIERTAS TENDENCIAS POLITICAS.

En ciertas ocasiones,estuve apunto de no terminarlo! Creo que al escritor en varias ocasiones,se le fue el sentido de la historia y se enfocó más lugares y nombres+ sin embargo tuvo en final que me gustó + Noel que esperaba!

Creo que es un libro muy bueno que nos ayuda a conocer un poco más de una de las grandes culturas de nuestro territorio Andino, sin embargo, el final me pareció inconcluso ya nunca se supo si Tupac Yupanqui vió a nemrac o no.
